Welcome to the website https://mikrolab.gr/ (hereinafter the “website”) of the Mikrolab diagnostic and microbiology laboratories (hereinafter “Mikrolab” or “we”). Browsing and using the website presupposes that you have read and accept these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the website.
1. Who we are
The Mikrolab laboratories were founded by Efstathia Ch. Christou (MD, MSc), medical biopathologist and microbiologist, and operate at two locations:

2. Purpose of the website
The website is informational: it presents the laboratories, the tests and check-up packages we perform, general information articles on health topics and the ways to contact us. No purchases or online payments are made through the website, and no user accounts are created.
3. Health information is not medical advice
The website’s texts on tests, conditions and reference ranges are provided for general information only. They do not constitute a medical diagnosis, opinion or advice and do not replace a visit to a doctor. Your test results are always interpreted by your treating doctor, together with your medical history and clinical picture. Do not stop or change any treatment on the basis of what you read on the website. In an emergency, call 166 or 112.
4. Tests, check-ups and prices
The tests included in each check-up package and the prices shown on the website are valid at the time of publication and may change without prior notice. For the current price, any preparation a test requires and the availability of home blood collection, please telephone the laboratory that serves you.
Sending the contact form or an email is a request, not a confirmed appointment: an appointment is valid once it has been confirmed by the laboratory.
5. Intellectual property
The content of the website (texts, photographs, graphics, logos, design) is the intellectual property of Mikrolab or of third parties who have licensed it and is protected by Greek and international law. You may view, save or print individual pages for personal, non-commercial use, citing the source. Any other reproduction, republication, modification or commercial exploitation requires our prior written permission.
6. Obligations of visitors
You must use the website in accordance with the law and good morals. In particular, the following are not permitted:
- sending false, misleading, offensive or unlawful messages through the contact form,
- sending the personal data of third parties without their consent,
- any action that may damage or disrupt the website or circumvent its security measures,
- mass or automated collection of its content without permission.
7. Links and third-party content
The website contains links to third-party websites (e.g. Google Maps, Facebook, Instagram) and embeds third-party content, such as Google maps and our laboratories’ Google reviews. The operators of those websites are solely responsible for their content, services and privacy policies. Reviews express the opinions of the people who wrote them.
8. Limitation of liability
We make every effort to keep the information on the website accurate and up to date and to keep the website running smoothly. However, we do not guarantee that the content is complete and free of errors, or that the website will be available without interruption. To the extent permitted by law, Mikrolab is not liable for any damage that may arise from the use or inability to use the website, or from reliance on its information without a doctor’s advice. Nothing in these terms limits the rights granted to you by consumer protection legislation.
9. Personal data and cookies
The processing of your personal data is described in the Privacy Policy and the use of cookies in the Cookie Policy, which form an integral part of these terms.
10. Amendments to the terms
We reserve the right to amend these Terms of Use. The version in force at any time is published on this page with the date of the last update. Continued use of the website after changes are published constitutes acceptance of them.
11. Applicable law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Greek law. The courts of Athens have jurisdiction over any dispute that may arise from the use of the website, subject to mandatory provisions in favour of consumers. If any term is found to be invalid, the remaining terms continue to apply.
