This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones are used on the website https://mikrolab.gr/ of the Mikrolab diagnostic laboratories, for what purpose, for how long, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files stored on your device (computer, mobile phone, tablet) when you visit a website. They are used to make the website work properly, to remember your choices and, if you allow it, to measure traffic and advertising. Similar technologies, such as browser local storage, are treated in the same way.
2. How you give and withdraw consent
On your first visit a cookie notice appears, where you can choose “Accept all”, “Reject” or “Customize” per category. Necessary cookies are always active. All other cookies are activated only after you give your consent, in accordance with Article 4(5) of Greek Law 3471/2006 and the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time from the round icon at the bottom left or from the “Cookie settings” link at the bottom of every page. When you withdraw consent, the related cookies are deleted from your device. Withdrawal does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out before it.

They are required for the website to work and do not require consent. They are not used to identify you.

Analytics cookies
They are activated only with your consent. They help us understand how the website is used (which pages you visit, how long the visit lasts, where you came from) so that we can improve it. We use Google Analytics 4 by Google Ireland Ltd. The data are aggregated. Google Signals is disabled.

Advertising cookies
They are activated only with your consent. Mikrolab runs ads through Google Ads. These cookies measure whether a visit to the website came from an ad and whether it was followed by an action, such as a phone call or a form submission, so that we can assess the effectiveness of our advertising.

If you do not consent to analytics or advertising, Google receives only anonymous, cookieless signals (Google Consent Mode), which do not allow you to be identified.
4. Third-party content
Some pages embed content from third-party providers. When this content loads, the providers receive technical data such as your IP address and may set their own cookies, under their own policies:
- Google Maps (Google Ireland Ltd.): maps with the location of our laboratories on the home page, the diagnostic centres page and the contact page. Google Privacy Policy.
- Google reviews via Trustindex (Trustindex Ltd.): display of our reviews. Reviewers’ profile photos are loaded from Google servers. Trustindex Privacy Policy.
- Cloudflare (Cloudflare, Inc.): security and speed of the website, and protection of the contact form against automated messages (Cloudflare Turnstile). Cloudflare Privacy Policy.
The Facebook and Instagram links are plain links. They load no content and set no cookies unless you follow them.
5. Browser controls
Besides the website settings, you can block or delete cookies in your browser settings: Chrome, Firefox, Safari, Edge. If you block necessary cookies, some features may not work properly, and embedded maps and reviews may not be displayed.
6. Updates to this policy
We regularly check the cookies used on the website and update this Policy whenever a cookie is added or removed. The date of the last update appears at the top of the page.
