This Cookie Policy explains what cookies are, which ones are used on the website https://mikrolab.gr/ of the Mikrolab diagnostic laboratories, and how you can control them. It supplements the Privacy Policy and the Terms of Use.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files that your browser stores on your device when you visit a website. They do not access documents or files on your device. They are used to make a website work properly, to remember your preferences or to collect statistics. Depending on who sets them, they are either the website’s own (“first-party”) cookies or third-party cookies.

2. Our website’s cookies

The website does not set any cookies of its own on visitors: browsing its pages and sending the contact form work without cookies. We do not use advertising or profiling cookies.

Technically necessary login cookies are set only for the website’s administrators when they log in to the administration area.

3. Third-party content and cookies

Some pages embed content provided by third parties. When this content loads, its provider receives technical details of the visit (e.g. your IP address) and may set its own cookies, which we do not control:

  • Google Maps on the home page and on the “Diagnostic Centres” and “Contact” pages, so that you can see where the laboratories are. Provider: Google Ireland Ltd. – Google Privacy Policy.
  • Google reviews, displayed through the Trustindex service. The content loads from Trustindex servers and the reviewers’ profile photos from Google servers. Provider: Trustindex Ltd. – Trustindex Privacy Policy.

The links to our Facebook and Instagram pages are plain links: they do not load content from those networks and do not set cookies unless you follow them.

4. Traffic statistics

If traffic measurement tools (such as Google Analytics) are enabled on the website, they will operate only after you give your consent, and this policy will be updated with the cookies they use and their duration.

5. How to control cookies

You can set your browser to reject all cookies or third-party cookies, to notify you before they are stored, or to delete those already stored. Instructions are available on your browser’s help pages:

Blocking third-party cookies does not affect browsing on the website. Only the embedded maps or reviews may not display correctly.

6. Changes to this policy

This policy is updated whenever the cookies or third-party content used by the website change. The date of the last update is shown at the top of the page.
