H MD. MSc. Christou X. Efstathia started her specialty in Medical Biopathology (Microbiology) at Andreas Syngros Hospital where she specialized in fungal cultures, taking and processing of skin smears, taking and processing of vaginal swabs. She continued and completed her specialization at the GNA LAKO University Hospital where she specialized in cultures of all biological fluids, in hematology with regard to hematological markers, the investigation of anemia and hematological diseases as well as in biochemistry and immunology.

She has worked as a scientific manager for many years in the largest diagnostic laboratories of Athens, acquiring expertise and experience in modern diagnostic methods.

H MD. Msc Christou X. Efstathia, with a spirit of giving to the general public, has been involved in public health, studied in the postgraduate program of the Medical School of the University of Athens and holds a master Msc "Global Health - Health Crisis Management" from the Medical School of Athens. She was involved in the COVID 19 pandemic at the operations center of the National Public Health Organization ( EODY ) where she offered her medical services for the management and response to COVID 19 Covid diagnostic testing sampling and case management. In parallel with her employment at EODY in 2020 she founded the microbiological laboratory MIKROLAB based in Chalandri where she pioneered the introduction of rapid molecular technique for the detection of Covid 19 .The laboratory was equipped with state-of-the-art equipment including the full range of laboratory tests with immediate and valid results for urgent and non-urgent situations.

He has participated in many conferences, he is a holder of DIPLOMA DISASTER MEDICINE, VICTIMS MANAGEMENT, BLS etc. He is a member of the Athens Medical Association and the Hellenic Microbiological Society.
